Good news: Memento offers excellent value in Tape-to-Digital. Once transferred to MP4 (playable on most all modern devices and video services), your video will stop decaying.  Computer files can last forever, and are easy to convert to future digital formats.

And unlike other popular services that offer similar, competitive pricing, we do all the work in-house, on our own equipment, here in our bay area studio. Other services?  Some of the big places ship your tapes out of state or out of the country, to save a few cents.

Turnaround: from two days to a few weeks, depending whether you bring us one, a hundred. One customer has transferred almost 1,000 tapes with us.

Pricing

Pricing includes a single tape cassette, up to 2 hours in length transferred to MP4. If a tape runs more than 2 hours, we charge for an extra 2 hr tape. Tapes that turn out blank are no-charge. Provide your own thumb drive, or we can provide a 64GB thumb drive, loaded with your files, for $19.95.
